Easy Cinnamon Apples
Ingredients:
- 4 apples, peeled, cored, and cut into ½-1” cubes
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Place the apple pieces into a skillet with 2 tablespoons of water.
- Cover the pan and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples become slightly soft and the water is absorbed.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Stir the apples and butter together until all the apples are coated.
- Sprinkle the ground cinnamon (and brown sugar, if using) over the apples. Stir well to combine.
- Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the apples are tender and the cinnamon is well distributed.
